· Consider the size of your possessions. If you are moving from a dorm to another dorm then self-move can be done especially if the distance is not too far. Larger sized moving can be more complicated.

· If you’re currently living on a tight budget and would rather do a self-move, do you have enough family and friends to help you move?
· If you need a truck to move your things from one house to another, do you know how to drive one? You can rent a truck minus the truck driver in most moving companies so this can be an option too.
