Keep in mind that moving companies charge by weight. This means that your total bill will depend on how heavy your stuff weighs. Of course you will need to purchase boxes and other packaging materials for the move. In order to save money, buy supplies in bulk and look for the manufacturer or direct source. This will save you a lot of cash plus, if it is a one stop shopping trip then you can save on your gas money too.
Make sure that everything is packed and ready for pick-up on the day of the move. Remember that the clock is ticking and if you take too long, the moving company will charge you extra. So pack everything ahead of time and be ready to roll once moving day comes along.
